According to Justin Watry of Bleacher Report, “WWE had security take away any “Albert” signs at the last Raw Supershow. Of Course, Lord Tensai was formerly (Prince) Albert and A-Train in WWE.”

My thoughts:

If I were the jefe at WWE, I would let the fans keep the Albert signs, let the fans chant “Albert,” and THEN, I’d have Lord Tensai confront the fans’ signs and chants. He should tell them that Albert is dead and that he died in Japan—where Tensai was born, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.

“The man completely re-invented himself,” wrote Justin Watry of Bleacher Report. That’s TRUE. Now, WWE needs to sell, sell, and sell that fact to the fans. Unfortunately, they haven’t been doing a good job of that.

Whenever I hear someone say that they can’t buy into the new character, I tell them that Tensai is sort of like Bruce Wayne in “Batman Begins”. Both men went to faraway lands, and as a result, underwent transformations.
